AMK sMy name is Amy Kostine, and I am the Trail of Tears Project Coordinator/Historian at the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University. I am currently working on a number of Trail of Tears projects, including a survey and assessment of historic buildings and structures associated with the entire Trail of Tears National Historic Trail in partnership with the National Trails Intermountain Region of the National Park Service. Although my primary research interests are American Indian history, particularly the Cherokee and the Trail of Tears, I am also interested in the history of slavery and emancipation in the US and the history of photography.

Thank you for visiting my online portfolio, which is where you will find information about me, samples of some of the projects that I have worked on, and my CV. If you have any further questions, please contact me at amy.kostine@mtsu.edu.
